Budget and Policy Analysis (ASNET)

This project is a budget advocacy initiative implemented by IPF in collaboration with the Agricultural Sector Network (ASNET) to strengthen private sector participation in Kenya’s national and county budget processes, with a particular focus on the agriculture sector. The initiative seeks to elevate the voice and influence of the private sector in fiscal planning and policy formulation by promoting evidence-based advocacy, facilitating inclusive stakeholder consultations, and raising public awareness through strategic media engagement. Key objectives include the development of integrated policy papers that merge budget analysis with actionable policy recommendations at both national and county levels, specifically in Kitui and Kajiado counties.
