Martha Njiiri

Martha Njiiri, PhD is a communications professional with over 15 years’ experience working with non-profit, public and private sectors as a consultant, researcher, trainer and lecturer in the areas of development communication, support communication, strategic communication, capacity development and applied research.  

Martha Njiiri holds a PhD in Mass Communication from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Masters degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication (Public Relations) from Daystar University. She is currently the Head of Strategic Communications at the IGAD Centre of Excellence for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (ICEPCVE).
