Duncan Maina

Duncan Maina is the Head of Global Finance/CFO at Interpeace, an international organization based in Geneva that prevents violence and builds lasting peace. Interpeace has 30 years of experience working in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

He previously held senior finance positions at Tearfund UK which included Head of Regional Finance for East and Central Africa, Senior Management Accountant for West Africa and Country Finance and Operations Manager in Liberia. 

He holds an Executive Master’s degree in Management and leadership from the United International States University; while undertaking this degree he did a summer immersion program at Solbridge International Business School in South Korea where his main area of focus was understanding Asian Business cultures. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi in Kenya.
