a) Ethiopia Program:
The IPF Ethiopia Program seeks to provide strategic technical assistance to Ethiopia’s Federal Ministries of Finance, Health, and Planning to strengthen policy coherence, equitable public resource allocation, sustainable debt management, and institutional capacity, in alignment with Ethiopia’s 10-Year Development Plan– the Homegrown Economic Reform Agenda. Anchored in the principles of equity, resilience, and inclusive growth, this support aims to enhance inclusive and sustainable fiscal reforms into economic planning. Through this collaboration, IPF Ethiopia contributes to evidence-based policy review and formulation, embedded with capacity strengthening, thus fostering effective mobilization and management of resources to meet the needs of all Ethiopians.
b) IPF–USA Program
The IPF–USA Program serves as a strategic platform for global partnerships, knowledge exchange, and joint policy engagement. It positions the IPF as a trusted African think tank and technical partner for U.S.-based institutions, foundations, and policy organizations seeking to advance public finance management and governance reforms in Africa and across the Global South, acting as a connector between African fiscal/ governance reform experiences and global policy processes. It aims to strengthen IPF’s global reach, diversify funding base, and reinforce IPF’s reputation.
